India’s Sirisha Bandla Waved The Flag In Space, Traveled With Richard Branson
Sirisha Bandla is an Indian American house traveler from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. She is the second Indian girl to enter a house after Kalpana Chawla and 4th Indian to discover a house. Sirisha is without doubt one of the six house vacationers onboard for “VSS of Unity” Virgin Galactic scheduled to take house on July 11. Sirisha Bandla and Beth Moses are the 2 girls in crew members for Unity22.
Born in Tenali of Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, Bandla was raised in Houston, Texas of the USA, The New Indian Express reported. The 34-year-old is among the six-member crew of VSS Unity — Virgin Galactic’s suborbital rocket-powered space plane.
Billionaire Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, who went to space, has returned to Earth. His journey lasted about 56 minutes. Branson was one of the six crew members of Virgin Galactic’s ‘VSS Unity’. It was launched from New Mexico at 8 pm Indian time. Along with this machine, Sirisha Bandla of Indian origin has also created history.
Richard Branson says about this journey that it was the experience of his life. It was a 1.5 hour flight. After 17 years of hard work, he got a chance to reach this height. After returning from space travel, Richard Branson celebrated the journey by carrying Sirisha Bandla on his shoulder.
