Burgers are one of the most popular fast food items all over the world because they are tasty, portable, and filling. While we all rely on fast food restaurants for our burgers, what if we told you that you can now order them from a vending machine in New Jersey with just a few clicks?

RoboBurger, the world’s first fully autonomous robotic burger cook, debuted recently at Jersey City’s Newport Centre Mall. According to the company, it will soon open locations around the country in airports, malls, colleges, offices, factories, and military facilities.

It is essentially a burger vending machine that serves freshly grilled burgers in six minutes without any human touch, as described on its website as the “greatest innovation in hot food vending since the advent of the microwave.” The robot chef cooks the patty, toasts the bun, dispenses the desired condiments, assembles the burger, and serves it for $6.99.

Customers can add ketchup, mustard, and cheese to their burgers via the touchscreen. Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are all accepted as payment methods.

According to the press release, “It has a refrigerator, an automated griddle, and a cleaning system. It measures 12 square feet, plugs into a traditional wall socket, and has a refrigerator, an automated griddle, and a cleaning system.”

It can also store up to 50 frozen burger patties and cook each one individually. Inside the machine, frozen meat and buns are prepackaged.

RoboBurger was founded in 2019 by Audley, Dan, and Andy with the goal of “forever changing the way we get and eat burgers.”
