BJP has filed police complaint against Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain regarding Tihar Jail video
The Delhi party, which has called Satyendar Jain a “collection agent” for Kejriwal, filed a police complaint against Jain and Kejriwal after a video of Jain getting a massage in jail was leaked.
The Delhi BJP on Saturday filed a complaint against Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following a video of Jain having a massage inside his cell in Tihar Jail went viral and went viral, sparking a row with the BJP. It claimed that the minister had an L5-S1 vertebral disc injury, for which the doctor recommended regular physiotherapy and acupressure treatment. In a viral video, AAP said that Satyendar Jain’s massage was part of the treatment.
Calling Satyendar Jain a “collection agent” for Kejriwal, the Delhi BJP leader said it was surprising that Kejriwal did not take action against Jain, which indicated that Arvind Kejriwal was also involved and provided a VVIP cell for Jain.
Aam Aadmi Party claimed that the BJP had illegally released videos labelled “VIP treatment” because it losing both MCD and Gujarat elections.
Saturday’s video added new fuel to the ongoing dispute that began after the Enforcement Department notified a court in Delhi that Jain was offered luxurious facilities at Tihar prison. Apart from massage, he was fed fruit salad from imprisonment; an agency told the court. The union’s home ministry has asked the Delhi chief secretary to report on the allegations.
Recently, at least 28 of his correctional officers were transferred from Tihar due to felonies.
Congress also joined the ranks by denouncing Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi model. “Should Arvind Kejriwal answer what is his obsession with not yet expelling Deputy Minister Satyendar Jain?
