Scotland to become the first country in the world to test 100% green hydrogen to heat homes

Scotland is all set to start its trials of replacing natural gas for cooking and heating with 100% Green hydrogen. Scotland is the world’s first country to conduct such a trial announced the UK’s energy regulator Ofgem. The test for green hydrogen will be conducted in fife city in over 300 houses where houses will be fitted with hydrogen heating systems, stoves, and ovens for over 4 years. The houses will start receiving the green hydrogen from 2022 end.
