India scored 151/5 in the World Test Championship, trailing Australia by “318 runs.
India finishes the World T20 Final with a score of 151/5, 318 runs behind Australia.
India trailed Australia by 318 runs after the first day of play in the World Test Championship Final, and they were at 151 for five at the time of the second day’s conclusion.
After starting the first essay at The Oval with an overnight score of 327 for three, the Australians were bowled out for 469.
The Indian pacemakers did well to contain Australia after having trouble on day one against century-makers Steve Smith and Travis Head.
With stats of 4/108 in 28.3 overs, Mohammed Siraj was the most effective Indian bowler, while Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur each claimed two wickets.
On the second day of the World Test Championship final on Thursday at the Oval, Steve Smith and Travis Head both reached significant batting totals, but India dismissed both batsmen.
With the second fresh ball, the seamers Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj, and Shardul Thakur were finding some inconsistent bounce and each got a wicket, which forced Australia to scale back its ambitions of a 500-run total.
As Siraj was running in, Smith walked away from the crease, lifted his bat with a furious expression, hugged Head, and then went back. The spider cam’s ominous shadow worried Smith.
For the fourth time out of his six test hundreds, Head passed 150 with his 23rd cut to the edge.
After the first day, India’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, chastised the bowlers for not starting by focusing on Head’s short-ball weakness. The seamers persisted on Thursday, and after a half-hour they managed to get Head, directing Siraj along the leg side straight to Srikar Bharat.
In his initial delivery during a test match in England, Cameron Green guided it past the slips and to the barrier, but he was eliminated at 6 after edging “Shami to Shubman Gill” at second slip.
Then Smith was shocked. India was unable to touch him, but Smith made it possible for them by choking Thakur. Smith scored 121 runs off 268 balls while hitting 19 extra points. He didn’t leave feeling content.
