A new photograph of Prince George was unveiled on his 11th birthday
Kensington Palace released a new photograph of Prince George to commemorate his 11th birthday. The image, taken by his mother Catherine, Princess of Wales, this year, was shared on the Palace’s social media accounts with a birthday message for the young prince.
Prince George was last seen in public accompanying his father, the Prince of Wales, to the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain in Berlin. Catherine frequently captures family moments through photography, often sharing them on social media to mark special occasions and birthdays.
This year’s portrait of Prince George, presented in black and white, differs from the more casual image shared on his 10th birthday, where he was pictured sitting on steps with rolled-back sleeves. In the latest photograph, he is wearing a friendship bracelet similar to the one worn by his sister, Princess Charlotte, during the Wimbledon men’s final earlier this month.
In June, Prince George, who is second in line to the throne, joined other members of the Royal Family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to celebrate his grandfather King Charles III’s birthday. This marked Catherine’s first public appearance since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.
