PM Modi honors the martyrs of Pulwama
In honor of the “Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)” soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama terror attack, PM Narendra Modi delivered a speech. The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, stated on Twitter that their bravery inspired him to “create a powerful and successful India.”
“Remembering the brave heroes who died on this day in Pulwama.” Their great sacrifice will always be remembered by us. “Their bravery inspires us to work hard to create a powerful, advanced India,” PM Modi wrote in a tweet.
A truck carrying explosives rammed the bus carrying 40 members of the CRPF from Jammu to Srinagar on February 14, 2019, resulting in one of the worst attacks on “Indian security forces.”
On Tuesday, “the CRPF and other security personnel honored the 40 jawans who perished in a terrorist attack on their vehicle in 2019.
Officers from the force, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Army laid floral tributes on the memorial for the Pulwama martyrs under the direction of “Special Director General of the CRPF Daljit Singh Chaudhry.”
Officers who placed flowers at the memorial included Lt Gen A S Aujla, ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, DIG South Kashmir Range, the general officer commanding of the Army’s 15 Corps, Rayees Bhat, IG CRPF, and deputy commissioner Pulwama.
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, “also paid respect, saying that the country would never underestimate the soldiers’ bravery. Their gallantry and unyielding bravery will always serve as an inspiration in the struggle against terrorism,” he added.
“Mallikarjun Kharge, president of the Congress, too praised the martyrs for their remembrance.”
Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, tweeted in tribute to them that India will never forget their sacrifice.
