Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman sport classic yellow and red costumes in the Deadpool 3 sneak peek.

After years of playful banter on social media, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have finally teamed up for Deadpool 3, creating much anticipation among fans. The first look of the film was unveiled on Monday, featuring both actors in their respective iconic superhero costumes.

In the shared still image, Ryan can be seen in his trademark red Deadpool costume, with his face concealed by the mask. Meanwhile, Hugh surprises fans by donning the vintage yellow Wolverine costume, reminiscent of the character’s appearance in the original comic books. This marks Hugh’s return as Wolverine, a role he portrayed in several X-Men films, including his farewell in the critically acclaimed 2017 movie Logan.

Ryan, on the other hand, first appeared as Deadpool in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine and went on to star in two standalone Deadpool films. In addition to reprising his role as the irreverent anti-hero, Ryan is also involved as a co-producer and co-writer for Deadpool 3.

Scheduled to be released on November 8, 2024, Deadpool 3 serves as the first film of Phase Six in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It continues the story established in the previous Deadpool films produced by 20th Century Fox, now integrated into the larger MCU. The movie is the 37th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and promises an exciting addition to the ever-expanding superhero franchise.

In addition to the collaboration between Jackman and Reynolds, Deadpool 3 will feature the return of Jennifer Garner, reprising her role as Elektra. Garner previously portrayed the character in the 2003 film Daredevil and its 2006 spin-off, Elektra.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Deadpool 3, which is currently being filmed and promises to bring the witty humour, action-packed sequences, and unique charm that made the previous films so popular.
