Vikram Ramesh Strengthens Panattoni India’s Industrial Development Platform with Engineering-Led Execution Excellence

As India’s industrial and logistics real estate sector accelerates on the back of e-commerce expansion, manufacturing growth, and supply-chain modernization, Panattoni continues to strengthen its leadership team to deliver globally benchmarked, future-ready infrastructure. At the forefront of this effort is Vikram Ramesh, Head of Projects and Design – India, a senior development professional with over 12 years of experience across master planning, architectural design, engineering, procurement, contracts, and construction execution. He was recognized as one of the 40 under 40 Industry leaders of 2025.

A core and early team member of Panattoni India Developments Private Limited, Vikram plays a central role in shaping the company’s engineering and delivery strategy as it scales operations in the Indian market. He is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including engineering and design leadership, contract awards, coordination with liaisoning consultants, and comprehensive construction management across Panattoni’s industrial and logistics developments.

Vikram’s responsibilities extend beyond execution to the investment and pre-development stage, where he actively supports land acquisition and project evaluation through technical feasibility studies, early-stage master planning, and efficiency optimisation. This integrated approach ensures that Panattoni’s developments are not only delivered at speed, but are also engineered for long-term operational efficiency, scalability, and financial sustainability.

Prior to joining Panattoni in April 2022, Vikram was part of the founding leadership team at Embassy Industrial Parks, now known as Horizon Industrial Parks following its acquisition by Blackstone. During his tenure, he progressed to Head of Engineering & Contracts, contributing significantly to the platform’s growth and standardisation. He also played a key role in the technical due diligence process during the company’s landmark divestment to Blackstone, coordinating closely with stakeholders to ensure institutional-grade governance and transparency.

Earlier in his career, Vikram worked with RSP Design Consultants, where he began as a Design Manager after completing his Bachelor of Architecture in 2013. His early exposure to architectural design and integrated project delivery laid a strong foundation for his ability to bridge design intelligence with execution excellence—an attribute that continues to define his leadership approach.

At Panattoni India, Vikram is focused on delivering globally benchmarked, Grade-A industrial and logistics assets that serve multinational occupiers across manufacturing, e-commerce, third-party logistics, automotive, and advanced engineering sectors. Panattoni’s developments are characterised by high clear heights, heavy-duty FM-grade flooring, advanced fire and life-safety systems, and automation-ready layouts that support high-throughput operations and future adaptability.

Sustainability remains a core pillar of Vikram’s mandate. As Panattoni expands its footprint in India, he is actively implementing the company’s global ‘Go Earthwise’ sustainability strategy, which focuses on energy efficiency, water conservation, biodiversity, and low-emission mobility. Initiatives such as solar-enabled rooftops, rainwater harvesting, EV charging infrastructure, waste recycling, and smart energy systems are being embedded into development standards to deliver long-term environmental and operational value.

With India’s warehousing and logistics sector witnessing sustained demand driven by changing consumer behaviour and supply-chain reconfiguration, Vikram views sustainable development as a strategic imperative. “Building responsibly is the only future-proof business model,” he emphasises, underscoring Panattoni’s commitment to delivering infrastructure that supports both economic growth and environmental resilience.

In recognition of his leadership and technical expertise, Vikram Ramesh was named among the “Top 10 Chief Engineering Managers, 2022” by CEO Insights Magazine. As Panattoni continues to scale its India operations, his engineering-led, institutionally disciplined approach is set to play a critical role in shaping the country’s next generation of industrial and logistics infrastructure.
