A New Zealand citizen has accused the Indian government of denying him entry without giving any reason and said that due to this he is living separately from his Indian wife. However, the Home Ministry refuted the allegation saying that they were not allowed to come due to violation of visa conditions.

Carl Edward Rice has appealed to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in this regard and has moved the Delhi High Court to withdraw the Indian government’s decision to blacklist her. He has also started an online petition to garner public support.

Sharing a video of his life story on Twitter, Rice, who claims to be a ‘content creator’ himself, tweeted from the handle imCarlRock, “Dear Jacinda Ardern, Government of India barred me from entering India and took me to Delhi. Is living in isolation from his wife and family. They have blacklisted me without giving any reason.
