71,000 appointment letters are distributed by PM Modi during the Rozgar Mela
On Friday, through video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered 71,000 appointment letters to newly hired employees in numerous government agencies and organizations as part of Rozgar Mela.
The PM spoke with several of the candidates through video conference after distributing the appointment letters and listening to their life stories.
The newly hired individuals, who were selected from aspirants from all over the country, will serve in a range of capacities in the central government, including those of junior engineers, loco pilots, technicians, inspectors, constables, Grameen dak sevak, junior accountants, nurses, doctors, and teachers, sub-inspector, income tax inspectors, stenographers and among others.
It is a component of the “Rozgar Mela” initiative, which the prime minister promised would create 10 lakh new jobs.
It is a direction towards fulfilling Modi’s pledge to give job creation first priority, according to the PMO. The “Rozgar Mela” is expected to provide young people with major opportunities for empowerment and involvement in the development of the nation, the statement claims. It is also expected to act as a catalyst for increased employment creation.
The lecture will also cover the information that recently appointed officials learned through the “Karmayogi Prarambh” module. For all newly hired personnel in various government departments, the module is an online training program.
As he spoke to the crowd, the prime minister noted that this was the first Rozgar Mela of 2023, bringing with it the priceless gift of employment into the government’s hands for the 71,000 families.
Prime Minister Modi congratulated the new workers and added that the employment opportunities will offer millions of families new hope.
In addition to the Assam government, which just organized one yesterday, he claimed that states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra are preparing to organize a Rozgar Mela very soon.
