BSF foils another Pakistan drone intrusion attempt in Punjab

In the Punjabi area of Tarn Taran on Wednesday, the Border Security Force (BSF) stopped yet another drone intrusion attempt from Pakistan, according to a BSF statement.
The incident happened in the Ferozepur region of the international border between India and Pakistan.
According to a senior BSF officer, on Wednesday at around 8 p.m., BSF personnel fired at a Pakistani drone they had discovered in the territory under their control at border outpost Harbhajan in the Ferozepur Sector of the Tarn Taran district.
The officer added that the area had been sealed off, and during the nights between Wednesday and Thursday, a search had been made for the missing drone.
The drone was retrieved from a farm by BSF personnel on Thursday morning around 8 a.m. He stated that more search efforts are being made to find contraband.
The BSF has prevented a number of drone penetration attempts.
A drone that crossed the international border from Pakistan on Tuesday night was shot down by BSF personnel on Wednesday in the Amritsar sector of Daoke Border Outpost (BoP).
The Pakistani drone, which had entered India at 1920 hours in the AOR of BOP Daoke in the AOR of the 144 Bn, Amritsar sector, was discovered to have crashed this morning in Pakistani territory, 20 metres into their territory, across from the AOR of BOP Bharopal. When counter-drone procedures were implemented, it hovered in the air for a short while before falling while it was returning, the BSF said in a statement on Wednesday.
On November 26, security personnel stationed at Daoke Border Outpost (BoP), in the Amritsar sector of the international border between India and Pakistan, shot down a suspected flying object coming from the Pakistani side.
Six bullets from the INSAS rifles of the security guards brought down a drone.
Later, it was discovered to be a quadcopter drone bearing the DJI Matrice 300RTK brand, built in China, resting in a field close to the border. There were also a couple cameras mounted on the drone.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has shot down three drones in the Amritsar region during the past two months.
