Kieron Pollard Becomes Third Man To Hit Six Sixes Over Over Cricket World Cup

West Indies white football captain Kierer Pollard on Wednesday became the third person to hit six sixes in an international match during the opening of the T20I against Sri Lanka. Pollard followed in the footsteps of South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs (2007 World Cup against the Netherlands) and India’s Yuvraj Singh (2007 T20 World Cup against England) to achieve this extraordinary match. Akila Dananjaya was the shooter who accepted the attack, as Pollard separated him freely. Pollard had four runs off 4 balls when he decided to launch Dananjaya’s attack, which was gratifying that in his previous overrun he had caught a trick that put strangers in the back foot.
