Diane Kruger, a German-American actor and former model, wore the perfect accessory to the Met Gala 2021. She walked the red carpet of the fashion event wearing her stunning engagement ring, which she debuted after People magazine reported her engagement to actor Norman Reedus last month.
On her ring finger, the Inglourious Basterds star wore a huge square-cut diamond and a glittering wraparound ring. Kruger’s ring complemented her neon green party dress, which featured a cutout over her tummy, a voluminous skirt, and a long train cape.
She completed the look with a pair of hot pink shoes with jewelled straps and multi-colored statement earrings, which complemented her natural beauty and brought out her pink makeup.
After meeting on the set of their 2015 film, “Sky,” Reedus and Kruger began dating. When they were spotted kissing on the streets of New York City in March 2017, the couple made their relationship public. People magazine reported their first pregnancy in May 2018, and they welcomed their daughter in November. Reedus and ex-girlfriend Helena Christensen have a 21-year-old son named Mingus Lucien.
Red carpet regular and Oscar candidate Timothee Chalamet, Grammy winner Billie Eilish, tennis star Naomi Osaka, and poet Amanda Gorman co-chaired this year’s Met Gala.
After last year’s ceremony was cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration was rescheduled for the first Monday in May. Guests had to provide proof of vaccination and wear masks at all times, with the exception of when drinking and eating.
