FIR Against Oracle India’s Country Head and His Wife, Alleging Fraud

Oracle India Pradeep Agarwal and his wife have been accused of misusing the goodwill of Oracle Company. Both of them have also been accused of cheating customers by collecting huge advances for the projects. Telangana Police has registered a case in this regard.

Police said on Tuesday that a case has been registered against Pradeep Agarwal and his wife Meenu Agarwal under sections 406, 420, 506 of the IPC. Both were served notices at their residence in Gurgaon on Monday. According to social media sites, Pradeep Agarwal is a senior director at Oracle. Police said that MADS Creation Pvt Ltd is an interior company based in Gurgaon. It works in Delhi-NCR. Meenu Agarwal is its chief.Meenu Agarwal’s interior firm collected huge amounts in advance from its clients in Delhi-NCR and its surrounding area.

It is alleged that the company, despite recovering advances from the customers, did poor quality work and in some cases the firm did not even complete the work. Police said that Pradeep Aggarwal, Country Head of Oracle Company and Senior Director of the company is also a big hand in this fraud of Mass Creation.

Police said that Pradeep Aggarwal and his wife used to entrap customers by using the credentials of the Oracle company. He said that Meenu Agarwal allegedly used to threaten customers to implicate them on charges of sexual harassment and attempt to murder.

The investigating officer told news agency ANI that they have contacted Oracle company regarding Pradeep’s position.

Oracle in its statement said: “Oracle has zero involvement in this matter. We would also like to state that Pradeep Aggarwal is not the Oracle India Head.”

Agarwal, at Oracle, has territorial responsibility for the North and West region. According to Agarwal’s LinkedIn profile he has been with Oracle for three years and 10 months. His profile also shows that he worked at Google India. His Likedin profile says that he was the founding country head (Indian Subcontinent), Google For Work.
