Quirky Designer Masaba Gupta and Actor Satyadeep Misra Tie the Knot in Intimate Ceremony
In a recent private ceremony, actor Satyadeep Misra and fashion designer Masaba Gupta got married. The designer, who is well-known for her eccentric creations in the Indian fashion business, posted photos of the little wedding on social media to express her joy and enthusiasm about the future.
The pair reportedly had a court ceremony, and their immediate family was present. Both Masaba and Satyadeep had previously been married; Satyadeep had been wed to Aditi Rao Hydari in the past, while Masaba was wed to producer Madhu Mantena from 2015 until 2019.
The bride wore a self-designed barfi pink raw silk lehenga from her label, and the groom wore a barfi pink wallflower bandi and a casual kurta-pyjama. The couple decided to dress from Masaba’s upcoming bridal collection. The bride’s clothing was complemented by the groom’s suit, which included a lime green dupatta with a wallflower motif and a lehenga with gold embroidery.
Masaba explained that they wanted to keep things simple and in the presence of their loved ones when asked why they chose to have a small wedding. “We won’t be celebrating in a large way moving forward, so we wanted it to be extremely intimate because we believed that was the correct thing to do,” she said. “The idea of choosing something intimate was because we’re both conscious of not wasting ridiculous amounts of money.”
The pair noted that they wanted to spend the day stress-free and that they did not want to focus on pleasing people on this special day rather than making it about them.
Fans and followers have praised Masaba and Satyadeep’s understated yet gorgeous wedding attire as they have joined in on the celebration of their marriage. The couple’s choice to have a small wedding has also gotten positive feedback, with many people praising their realism and attention to what matters most.
