A 9-year-old Girl Tormented The Pages of History

Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain in the world; 5,895 metres above sea level and 4,900 metres above its plateau base. The climbers who managed to reach this point are certified by the official Kilimanjaro certificate. But can you expect it from any age group?

Well! This unbelievable act is performed by a 9-year-old kid of Andhra Pradesh, Kadapala Rithvika Sri. A resident of Anantapur. She conquered this highest mountain peak of Africa. Rithvika is in class 2 and with the help of a guide and her father, she made this miracle happen. Rithvika took participated in the school expedition and completed her journey to the peak of Kilimanjaro. Hence, becoming the youngest climber.

According to the new Indian express,  Rithvika’s father, Kadapala Sankar, is a coach and sports coordinator in  Anantapur. He had scaled this mountain last year and this time, he took his daughter along.

The IAS officer Gandham Chandrudu congratulated the girl and said “ you have grabbed the opportunity, despite many odds. Keep going “. Rithvika’s father claims that he knew her daughter would be able to do it on the first go. Again, Rithvika proved that Age is just a number.
