Katie Price’s family has stated that their “worst fears nearly came true” after learning that she was involved in a car accident.

According to The Sun, the reality TV star was arrested after crashing her car on Tuesday.

As per a statement posted on the 43-year-old’s account and attributed to her family, they had been “concerned” about her health for some time. They urged fans to send supportive messages. Price is not thought to have been seriously hurt in the West Sussex incident, but The Sun published photos of a car on its side. “Today, our worst fears nearly came true,” the family said in a statement. “As a family, we have been and will continue to assist Kate in obtaining the assistance she requires.” We hope she realises she can’t deal with her problems on her own.

“Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the B2135 near Partridge Green at around 6.20am on Tuesday,” Sussex Police said in a statement (September 28).

“A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and she was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The road was temporarily closed while the vehicle was recovered. “

The South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust issued the following statement: “South East Coast Ambulance was called at approximately 6.30am to reports of an RTC on the B2135 at Partridge Green.”

“A single ambulance crew responded to the scene, and one person was assessed and treated before being transported to the hospital.”

The reported crash occurred a day after Price discussed her inability to visit her son Harvey, who is disabled and attending a residential college, due to her inability to drive.

“Harvey’s in Cheltenham now, so he keeps ringing me saying, ‘Mummy, I miss you, I need your kisses and cuddles,’ so it’s quite hard,” she said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on Monday.

“Obviously, I won’t have my licence back until December, so I can’t just drive down there, and it’s not close.”
