It doesn’t matter what they do, they do it in style. Beyonce and Jay-Z are a power couple because of this. They have teamed up with Tiffany & Co. to become the brand’s new ambassadors. While the husband and wife combo have collaborated on music projects before, this is the first time they have appeared in the same commercial campaign, according to The Independent.

The artist published photos of the duo on social media, and we can certainly say that they are really fashionable. They pose in front of a Jean-Michel Basquiat painting in one of the photographs, wearing black evening dresses and sparkling Tiffany diamonds.

‘Beyonce and Jay-Z are the essences of the modern love tale,’ Alexandre Arnault, Tiffany’s senior vice president of product and communications, was cited as saying about the ‘ABOUT LOVE’ campaign. We can’t think of a more legendary couple who better reflects Tiffany’s principles as a company that has always stood for love, strength, and self-expression. The Carters are an honorable addition to the Tiffany family. ’

The ad will kick off on September 2nd, with a clip featuring Beyoncé performing “Moon River” from “Breakfast At Tiffany’s.”

Another reason why this ad is notable is that the massive stone that the singer has been pictured wearing is the Tiffany Yellow Diamond, which is one of the most famous pieces of jewellery in the world. The singer wore it for the first time as the first black lady and the fourth person in the world to do so.

About the stone:

According to the Independent, the huge golden stone was discovered in South Africa in 1877. Charles Lewis Tiffany, the founder of Tiffany & Co., purchased the 287.42-carat raw diamond in 1878.

While it has been on display at a number of exhibitions, it has only been worn a few times, most memorably by Audrey Hepburn in the publicity photos for Breakfast At Tiffany’s.
